Customizable Plush Halloween Basket with 40 Mix-and-Match Felt Pieces

Pumpkin carving is a favorite Halloween tradition, but younger children often watch while an adult handles most of the cutting and scooping. The Dimple Create-a-Face Pumpkin Basket gives kids a more hands-on way to enjoy the fun. No carving tools are required, and the design can be changed again and again instead of becoming permanent after one attempt.

The orange pumpkin basket is covered in a special loop-receptive fabric that works with the included hook-backed felt pieces. Children can mix and match 6 mouth designs, 6 eye styles, 6 eyebrow styles and 6 noses to create more than 2,000 possible facial arrangements. They can make their pumpkin look happy, worried, serious, silly, surprised, spooky or completely unique.

The set contains 30 different accessory designs made from 40 individual removable felt pieces. Paired eyes and eyebrows are supplied as separate pieces, allowing children to mix different eyes, create uneven expressions and build characters that go beyond the sample designs. Six additional Halloween decorations—a ghost, jack-o'-lantern, witch hat, bat, spider and wrapped candy—provide even more ways to customize the basket.

Children can create one main face, decorate multiple sides or make up to 6 faces around the basket at the same time. They can visit one house with a scary expression, change it to a funny face for the next house and redesign it again whenever inspiration strikes. The pieces grip the basket securely during normal carrying and movement while remaining easy for children to remove and reposition.

Once decorating time is over, the activity becomes a functional trick-or-treat basket. The basket measures approximately 9 inches wide and 5.11 inches high, with an overall raised-handle height of 10.23 inches. Its estimated 3.1-liter usable interior holds approximately 100 standard fun-size candies, depending on the size and shape of the treats.

The polyester plush and felt exterior feels soft, while concealed plastic support between the fabric layers helps the pumpkin stand upright and retain its rounded shape. The flexible plastic handle core is covered in soft fabric, reinforced where it connects to the basket and designed to carry a full trick-or-treat haul.

Use the basket for trick-or-treating, Halloween parties, boo baskets, classroom activities, pretend play, expression games, seasonal decoration, candy storage or small-toy organization. The included inspiration card shows 6 sample faces to help children begin, while leaving the final pumpkin design entirely up to their imaginations.

Designed for children ages 3 and up, the Dimple Create-a-Face Pumpkin Basket is tested to meet or exceed applicable U.S. toy and children's product safety requirements, including applicable ASTM F963 and CPSIA requirements.
